“Why work with anyone else?”

At a glance

Client adam&eveDDB logo

It all started a few years ago with one producer and some Android banners. We progressively grew across the agency to what now feels like having worked with almost every producer and client at adam&eveDDB.

In their own words, “Bannerboy feels like an extension of us.” They come to us with their coolest ideas and craziest deadlines because they know we are always more than happy to jump on board.

In the beginning

adam&eveDDB really knows their stuff and has great talent for showing what they want. For our first project together, they provided video mockups and our job was to recreate them in HTML5.

These banners came on the heels of the great death of Flash in the online advertising world. Back then many were panicking that animation would suffer as it was thought animating in HTML5 was difficult to do well. Doesn’t look like much suffered here, though.

Waitrose is pushing it

Waitrose is really ambitious with their online channels and always eager to test new technology.

Live streaming masthead

We built a dynamic content YouTube masthead featuring live streaming video from a farm in the UK. Depending on the time of the day, a different video feed would load. The unit performed extremely well — we’re talking beating Waitrose’s previous impression volume record by over 1.5 million!

Dynamic Xmas ads

For Waitrose Christmas campaign we created a set of dynamic banners that allowed them to swap out products in real-time based on store availability. Beautiful, close-cropped photography coupled with simple messaging made these stand out and really drive people to the stores.

“Always appreciated the nuances and additions Bannerboy brings to the table. Great value and a great service which is rare.”
